Winner of the President’s Young Performer Concert 2021, Charmaine was lauded by The Straits Times for her “nimble fingers and consummate musicianship” during her solo debut with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Her extensive list of accolades makes her no stranger to global stages, with Charmaine clinching top prizes at international competitions such as the Camac Harp Taiwan Competition, Asia Harp Chamber Competition, Enkor International Chamber Competition and New England Conservatory Concerto Competition. Harpist Karen K has a M.Mus in Harp Performance from the University of Toronto, and a B.Mus hon. (2nd upper) from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Singapore. Karen K has performed with groups like the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, and the Orchestra of the Music Makers, in the continents of Asia, North America, and Europe. Dora completed her Master of Music course at the Royal College of Music (London), where she studied the harp with Daphne Boden and Imogen Barford. Dora is also an active chamber musician and was a prize winner of the Chamber Music Category of the Enkor Music Competition in 2015/2016. She has traveled around the world to perform; places include Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, National Concert Hall (Taiwan), Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall (UK) and Britten Theatre in the Royal College of Music. Mifiona
Mifiona began learning the harp at the age of nine and was a member of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) from 2003 to 2009. Throughout her membership in the SNYO, Mifiona was under the tutelage of Gulnara Mashurova, Principal Harpist of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, Mifiona was selected as the harpist for the Asian Youth Orchestra (AYO), where she performed in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand. [ more about Mifiona.. ]
