Karen T enjoys a multifaceted international career as a soloist, orchestral player, chamber musician, and educator across New York and Singapore. An award-winning musician, Karen won the NAFA-Kris Foundation Concerto Competition and was a finalist/semi-finalist at prestigious international harp competitions in the United States, Italy, and Japan. She performs frequently with premier ensembles worldwide, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony Orchestra, and the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra Academy in Japan.
Karen graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) from the Royal College of Music, London / NAFA under a full scholarship, and holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music. Currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate and Doctoral Fellow, she also serves as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University and is a founding member of Singapore’s first harp quartet, The Harp Quarterly.
