Jennifer

Malaysian cellist Jennifer is an active performer in the Kuala Lumpur music scene. She has performed for weddings, corporate events, recordings, and live TV shows. Prior to her studies in the Singapore, Jennifer served as the principal cellist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO). Her engagement with the orchestra has led her to perform side by side with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) and to tour both internationally and locally with the MPYO. She was also a member of the Kuala Lumpur String Project (KLSP).

Jennifer started with piano lessons and subsequently picked up cello as her second instrument in 2009. In 2011, she obtained a distinction for diploma in cello (ATCL). Her teachers include Qin Li-Wei, Florian Antier, and Elizabeth Tan. She has performed for masterclasses by Miranda Harding, Leonid Shukaev, and Harm-Jan Schwitters. Jennifer is currently a full scholarship student at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music studying under Ng Pei-Sian.
