Ashlee is a contemporary pianist who demonstrates her versatility through her ever-expanding piano repertoire of music which is a mixture of jazz, pop, musicals, movie theme songs, and dinner music.
Many of the jazz standards are tunes from the late 1920s onwards (Honeysuckle rose, Tea for Two, Blue moon, All of Me, Autumn Leaves, Misty), alongside a list of modern songs from renowned artists such as Stevie Wonders, The Carpenters, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. For Ashlee likes to keep up with her charts by learning new songs, she will happily incorporate any ‘special requests’ into her set if notified in advance.
Ashlee has performed at the Sheraton Towers for many years as their resident lounge pianist, and also an event pianist for hotels such Conrad Centennial Singapore, Fullerton, Hotel Michael @RWS, Fullerton and Ritz Carlton and more.
Her wealth of experience playing for cocktail piano allows her to constantly create the right atmosphere for wedding ceremonies, receptions or corporate events.
As a band side person or guest, Ashlee has performed in various venues such as Esplanade Recital Studio, Singapore Botanical Gardens’ Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, International Jazz Day at Kult Cafe and even ventured overseas to perform at JB Arts Festival 2015 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Her previous gigs’ venues include Blujaz Cafe, Harry’s Bar and La Salsa at Dempsey Hill. To date, Ashlee has released a piano cover album titled “Back and Present” which is available for download on Spotify and iTunes.
