I had a very good experience with the Violin Duo at my wedding dinner. Me and my wife wanted something less attention seeking and subtle, so we chose the Violin Duo. There were a couple of things that made it so wonderful.

1) There were no complicated sound systems or movement of equipment involved. Only two mics and their violins. Duh

2) The pieces perfectly and seamlessly eased in immediately after the first course was served. In fact my wife and friends didn’t feel any awkwardness in the transition when they started playing. It felt so natural because you only realize there are violinists playing after looking around. Perfect choice because we didn’t want them to be the center of attention. Initially, it felt like a CD playing in the background. The real appreciation really sinks in after you look around and see such great pieces being played by people!

About the pieces. Though it was advertised as Classical, they also played some pop music! I heard Coldplay/Taylor Swift and was deeply impressed.
