Described as a “confident and sensitive musician”, Laura is a professional concert harpist specialising in weddings and special events. Following studies in Paris, Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Royal College of Music, London.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Laura has performed at prominent venues across Asia and Europe including Buckingham Palace, Handel House Museum, Foundling Museum, Wotton House, Royal College of Music Museum (England); Salle Gaveau, Salle Cortot, Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum, Chateau du Val-Richer (France); Victoria Concert Hall, Esplanade, The Arts House, Eden Hall (Singapore). Notable performances include the Asian Harp Festival (Hong Kong), Korea International Harp Festival, Singapore Harp Festivals, Singapore Island Country Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race Ball (Singapore), Debussy in Paris Conference (France).
A laureate of international harp competitions, Laura’s accolades include the Singapore-Malaysia Harp Competition 2010, Thailand International Harp Competition 2009 and Elias Parish-Alvars International Harp Competition 2008 (England) as well as finalist positions at the Marcel Tournier International Harp Competition 2011 (Italy) and Wales International Harp Competition 2010.
Laura was previously harpist in the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and Orchestra of the Music Makers, and was a featured performer in Youthful MUSING, a special recording for the Community Chest.
